Consequences for rule violations or poor behavior range from loss of privileges to filing of formal charges for violations of State Laws.

In cases involving adverse physical behavior Integrity House utilizes the techniques of "Therapeutic Crisis Intervention" which involves immediate staff intervention combined with direct staff/resident interaction. Therapeutic Crisis Intervention utilizes a process that de-escalates the resident's adverse emotional and physical outburst and teaches the resident techniques for controlling repeated occurrences. Physical restraint is utilized in cases where the resident poses a threat to themselves or others.
